Yup, all in all a good weekend for me. Didn't have to worry about school, which is always a plus : )
Let's see....saw Mystic River finally on friday night...man my love for clint eastwood just continues to grow, hehe. The movie was really good..it's like tim robbins said on dave, it's a movie for people who are sick of the stupid teen flicks out. It was a good, solid movie...no flashy catches or anything..just an excellent cast, awesome story, awesome acting, and of course awesome direction to pull it all together.
Sat was great got to just chill and read catch-22 all morn then when the game came on read all the mags we have that i havent gotten to read yet...and the gators kicked ass, always a good thing against a 11th ranked team, ark. really didnt have a chance until the very end, cuz our defense was worn down and all by that time, a good call saved them from even having a chance to win...I was very impressed with our team tho, we are def lookin good, of course all this can change in 2 weeks when we play georgia.
So sat night we went to eddie c's...that was fun, the first band I thought were really good, Gargamel, the lead singer was crazy, but hey...crazy is cool as long as u play well...which I thought the music was pretty damn good. It was hard, but still you could dance to it...their first song was def the best tho. The next band was good...but they were old...so all their fans were old and drunk....so that kinda ruined it. It was funny tho, watchin all those old people actin like they are half their age, esp the old creepy-ass guy who was dressed in a freakin suit. Good stuff, after that we just chilled...doin what us bumz do best ;-)
Sunday...a good day too...cowboys kicked ass, yeah we beat a team that were 1-4, but we lost to them 8 out of the last 9 times we've played them....and hey man either way we are freakin 5-1!!! First time winning 5 straight since 94, and now we have tied the games won in each of the past 3 years where we went 5-11 each season....so if we win one more, my goal for this season will be reached, hehe. Next week is the bucs!!!!!! We win that game, and I will be def convinced we are playoff worthy. Aight enough football ranting for me. Nothin else too interesting happened this weekend, now I have a lil of homework i gotta do tonight other then that i'm jus gonna have a quiet night, good stuff :)
